4-H Food Drive boxes will be on the stage in the cafeteria for donations starting tomorrow morning. We will deliver to the food bank in Mingus on December 12.
Of course we will take any nonperishable items as well, and any items on the list. It doesn’t have to be the whole list; anything would be appreciated!

I’m excited to share with you that we are partnering with Goodside Health to provide medical care for your child on campus. We will now be able to test your child for Strep, Flu, and COVID-19 as well as evaluate and diagnose sore throat, headache, skin rash, pink eye, upset stomach and the common cold all at little to no cost to you. Goodside Health even performs age-appropriate mental health screenings with parental consent.
All of these services are supported by telemedicine, and parents can also be included in the telehealth visit without having to leave work! Coach Ahearn's welding students have completed the fence surrounding the ag barn, and the agricultural department is preparing for the local stock show coming up on December 11th!

What a wonderful turnout! Thank you to everyone who came out today for our Thanksgiving lunch and Kindergarten performance! We are so grateful for the outpouring of support, and we absolutely love to see our families take an active part in our students' lives!
Our fantastic cafeteria staff served a total of 183 delicious meals, and we were pleased to see many more community members in attendance that did not eat.

Strawn Eighth Graders have been reading "The Outsiders" by S. E. Hinton, so Mrs. Quirk provided them with a classic "Outsiders" breakfast!
In the novel, the Curtis brothers ate a breakfast every morning that consisted of eggs with grape jelly and chocolate cake.
What a delicious way to connect with literature!





The cafeteria will be hosting their annual Thanksgiving lunch on Thursday, November 17. Kindergarten will perform in the cafeteria at 10:30 AM and lunch will follow. Please check with your children's teachers to confirm their lunch times.
