Strawn ISD Education Foundation
The Strawn ISD Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2015. The Foundation currently funds the following programs:
· After-School tutorials – Program offers payout incentive for students attending after-school tutorials.
· IXL Incentive Program – Reward program for students meeting goals in IXL Reading and Math every six weeks and yearly.
· Dual Credit Program – Provides funding for 2 college level classes for up to 8 students.
· Collegiate Scholarship Program – Covers all tuition and fees not covered by financial aid. This includes housing and books.
Our programs and funds continue to grow annually and are made possible by generous donations from various sponsors. For the 2021-2022 school year, we received $61,736.14 in funding.

Strawn ISD Education Foundation Collegiate Scholarship: Student Profiles
Bella Mahone graduated from Strawn HS in 2021. She attends Missouri Western State University where she is studying Criminal Justice. Bella is involved in Track and Field and the Criminal Justice Association. She will graduate in 2023.

Karlee Mallory graduated from Strawn in 2021. She attends Texas Woman’s University. She is studying Healthcare Administration. She is minoring in Child Development. Karlee is a member of the TWU Honors Scholar Program. She will graduate in 2024.

Payton Harris graduated from Strawn High School in 2022. He attends Sul Ross State University and is studying Kinesiology. He is active at the Rec Center where he goes daily to play basketball and meet new people. Payton will graduate in 2026.

Trenton Sizemore graduated from Strawn High School in 2022. He attends Weatherford College and is studying Aerospace Engineering. He is a member of the Corn Hole, Dodgeball, and Science Club. He is also the president of the Powerlifting Club. Trenton will graduate in 2026.
