As we update our collection, many books are being weeded. These books are still in good condition and in need of new homes! Please come by the Strawn ISD Library on November 13, 2023, between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM, to fill a bag or a box with FREE books to take home with you! We will have both fiction & nonfiction, chapter books, and picture books. Books may have cataloging stickers on cover and stamps/leveling info inside cover. Please contact Cassandra Ellis with any questions! (254) 672-5776
*Weeding is a necessary part of proper library curation as nonfiction titles age out of accuracy, as we receive new titles, and as we contend with limited shelving!

Strawn ISD is excited to announce that our STEM program received a grant from Mineral Wells Walmart! This will be beneficial in helping us buy a 3D printer and other useful programming/algorithm tools for all ages! We are excited to see our program learn more and get more experience!

Thank you, Gordon ISD STUCO, for the very generous donation to Keaton Tunnell and the Tunnell family as he recovers from his emergency surgery. We love to see our community in action and are in awe of the small town generosity of spirit. Thank you!
