Thank you, Lisa Bell, for coming to visit our Yearbook Class! Lisa is the editor of Weatherford NOW & Burleson NOW Magazines and shared so much information with us about what that entails and how our yearbook skills would translate in that field. We learned about what an editor does and the various roles freelance photographers & writers and graphic artists play in production. We sent over 20 questions beforehand to Ms. Bell in preparation, and she & Managing Editor Becky Walker answered all of them! Ms. Walker actually got her start by teaching a yearbook class! Lisa Bell said her favorite part of the job is being able to make a living doing what she loves and meeting people she'll never forget. Thank you for your time and for sharing your experiences. We especially appreciated the advice of finding what you love and choosing a career that lets you do that.
